On May 7, 2026, Montgomery 2320 Business Development Services LLC had the privilege of hosting a highly impactful and relationship-centered business development seminar at in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m., the seminar brought together entrepreneurs, executives, emerging professionals, community stakeholders, public leaders, and business owners from multiple industries for a day focused on leadership development, collaboration, faith, accountability, operational growth, and meaningful relationship building.
This was not transactional networking.
This was intentional business development.
Nearly everyone in attendance was meeting for the first time, creating a powerful environment for authentic introductions, fresh strategic conversations, and future collaboration opportunities throughout the Indianapolis business community. The room represented multiple generations, backgrounds, industries, and levels of entrepreneurial experience — all united by a shared commitment to growth, leadership, and long-term impact.
A tremendous amount of gratitude goes to Lowayne Montgomery, owner of Strength of a Name LLC, whose leadership, hospitality coordination, operational support, and servant-minded professionalism helped establish an environment that was welcoming, organized, and deeply engaging from beginning to end. Her commitment to excellence played a major role in the successful execution of this seminar experience.
We also extend sincere appreciation to Addison Newell and the entire Refinery 46 team for their continued partnership and hospitality. Over the last seven years, Refinery46 has remained one of Indianapolis’ strongest entrepreneurial ecosystems and collaborative business environments. Witnessing the recent renovations and modernization of the facility reinforced its growing importance as a hub for innovation, incubation, and business development within the Indianapolis corridor.
The day began with early fellowship and engagement as Marty Moran was among the first to arrive, followed by participants including George Middleton others who contributed to the strong atmosphere of collaboration and discussion throughout the day.
One of the seminar’s most valuable dynamics was the level of engagement from attendees themselves. This was not a passive audience. Participants openly shared experiences, discussed business challenges, exchanged ideas, and contributed insight that created mutual learning opportunities across industries and generations. New relationships and strategic connections were formed throughout the event, including meaningful engagement with professionals such as and among many others.

We were honored to have Mayoral Candidate Vop Osili attend and share his thoughtful perspective regarding the future of Indianapolis, economic growth opportunities, and the critical role small and midsize businesses play in shaping the city’s future.
What stood out most was not simply the presentation itself, but the willingness to remain actively engaged throughout the seminar — spending time listening to attendees, participating in discussion, and building direct relationships with business owners and professionals present throughout the day.
We were also grateful for the attendance and engagement of George Hornedo, whose willingness to connect directly with attendees contributed greatly to the collaborative spirit and open dialogue that defined the seminar environment.
One of the afternoon’s most impactful presentations was delivered by Stephanie Bowie, CPA, MBA, who provided an extremely practical and timely session centered around accounting discipline, financial structure, self-accountability, operational clarity, and responsible stewardship within business ownership. Her presentation challenged attendees to evaluate their systems honestly and reinforced a critical business reality: sustainable growth requires disciplined execution alongside vision.
Earlier in the seminar, Marty Moran delivered a powerful faith-centered presentation emphasizing storytelling, branding, relationship development, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship. Drawing from decades of entrepreneurial experience, he shared insight into launching and sustaining business ventures later in life, including his own entrepreneurial journey beginning after the age of 55. His message reinforced the importance of maintaining proper priorities: God first, people second, and business third.
The lunch fellowship portion of the seminar became one of the most meaningful moments of the day. Attendees broke bread together, shared personal and professional experiences, discussed challenges and opportunities, exchanged contact information, and developed relationships beyond surface-level interaction. It served as a reminder that strong business ecosystems are built through trust, consistency, authenticity, and human connection — not simply transactions.
One of the clearest takeaways from this seminar was the power of generational collaboration. Emerging entrepreneurs and seasoned business veterans shared the same room, creating an environment where wisdom, innovation, practical strategy, resilience, and faith-driven leadership could coexist and strengthen one another.
